This is my little tribute to a great singer. Alexandra!!!  I have many a times felt like I am a gypsy (Zigeunerjunge) and while I was stationed in Europe, I heard a song on the radio and fell in love with the voice of Alexandra.  Even with my limited German vocabulary at the time, I was drawn to her songs and to her lyrics.  Now,  many years later with the great resources of the internet, I  managed to get some of her albums and also learned of her unfortunate passing in a traffic accident on July 31, 1969.  I would like to thank all that have posted websites in her honor, and with this site, I hope to contribute another link, to a great singer known to many as Alexandra.
